cha|rade «shuh RAYD», noun.
1. a) Often, charades. a game in which one player acts out a word or phrase or its various parts and the others try to guess what it is. If the word he wants guessed is penmanship, the player might act out “pen,” “man,” and “ship.” b) a word or phrase represented in this game.
